रानी मुखर्जी की फिल्म मिसेज चटर्जी वर्सेज नॉर्वे का पहला ट्रेलर अभी रिलीज हुआ है। आशिमा चिब्बर द्वारा निर्देशित और राहुल हांडा, समीर सतीजा और चिब्बर द्वारा लिखित यह फिल्म एक भारतीय जोड़े की सच्ची कहानी पर आधारित है, जिनके बच्चों को 2011 में नॉर्वेजियन कल्याण सेवाओं द्वारा उनसे दूर ले जाया गया था। मुखर्जी ने शीर्षक भूमिका निभाई है, एक महिला जो अपने बच्चों के साथ पुनर्मिलन के लिए नॉर्वेजियन सरकार के सामने खड़ी है।

नॉर्वे में रहने वाले एक भारतीय जोड़े अनूरूप और सागरिका भट्टाचार्य के दो बच्चों की कस्टडी 2011 में नॉर्वे की सामाजिक सेवाओं द्वारा ली गई थी। माता-पिता ने जोर देकर कहा कि भारतीयों के खिलाफ एक सांस्कृतिक पूर्वाग्रह था और उन्होंने अपनी लड़ाई में विदेश मंत्रालय को शामिल किया। दोनों देशों के बीच एक राजनयिक विवाद के बाद, नॉर्वे के अधिकारियों ने दो भारतीय बच्चों की कस्टडी उनके पिता के भाई को देने का फैसला किया, जिससे वह उन्हें भारत वापस लाने में सक्षम हो सके।
